Best Tools to Grow Your Email List from Scratch in 2019
Let's take a minute to talk about the best tools to grow your email list from scratch in 2019. Or even better, how to build an email list period. Emailing marketing is one of those things that you absolutely need to be taking advantage of in your business. This is a great way to stay in touch with your audience and even let them know when you've got a new YouTube video out.
In this video, we're talking all about email list building. I'm going to share how to build an email list fast using my favorite email list building tools. Let's dig into that email list!
ConvertKit (or MailChimp)
The first tool I always recommend is one that you actually have to have. An email service provider to start collecting those emails. I currently use ConvertKit and love it. However, if you're looking for a free option, MailChimp has you covered. These platforms will allow you to collect email address and then send mass email updates to your subscribers.
Leadpages
Leadpages is a site I use that connects with ConvertKit to deliver my lead magnet or opt in offer. Here's a secret- no one is signing up because they really want your newsletter that bad. The best way to grow your email list is to offer them a freebie. Give them something of value in exchange for their email address.
Leadpages gives you the ability to really track data, see how opt ins are converting and give you insights on how you can keep growing.
Canva
Those opt ins I talked about? Canva is one amazing way to create them. This easy to use platform provides you with templates to create everything from PDFs to checklists and more. And the best part? You can use this tool for everything else too! Thumbnails, Pinterest images, you name it!
Hello Bar
This is a newer tool to me and I LOVE it! It's a little pop up bar for your website. Now before you run off because you HATE pop ups, listen. I hate them too. But this pop up is different. It doesn't obscure the screen and you can set it to pop up during specific actions. Like when a person is leaving your website.
These are the tools that I use and LOVE. Which tool are you most excited about?
