Do you feel like a black cloud appears over your head the second you pull into the parking lot at work? I did! In 2015, I realized that life is too short to spend 8+ hours a day doing something that left me feeling frustrated and unfulfilled. So I started my own business!
But I know that running a business isn’t for everyone. Hey, even I’ve considered going to work for someone else too! So if you are looking to leave your 9-5 but don’t want to start your own business OR you have a business but it’s not working for you, I’ve got some ideas for you.
5 JOBS YOU CAN DO FROM HOME (& HOW TO FIND THEM)
VIRTUAL ASSISTANT ($35-50 an hour)
There are so many different directions you can go with this one! VAs can manage calendars, act as a personal assistant, work in customer service, engage with clients, schedule newsletters… the opportunities are endless!

Use Facebook groups to find where the entrepreneurs are hanging out and learn about what they’re looking for. It might even result in getting hired! You can also find a local small business and offer your services - there’s no better way to learn then by DOING!
SOCIAL MEDIA PLANNER ($15-40 an hour)
Social Media Planners can create content, schedule posts, design graphics, track engagement and so much more over a variety of platforms. Think Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, blogs, you name it.

Again, there’s no better way to learn than by actually doing it! Find a friend who’s looking for help with social media and help her out! Or create your own business account and study the analytics… look for patterns and figure out what WORKS!
PODCAST EDITOR ($10-40 an hour)
This is a growing niche and isn’t as difficult as you might think! With just your laptop, GarageBand and some earbuds, you can be a podcast editor!

ONLINE SURVEY TAKER ($50-200 a month)
Did you know you can actually get paid to take surveys online? Sign up through a few different survey websites, fill in your demographic information and start getting surveys in your inbox. This probably isn’t going to replace your full-time income, but it can provide great supplemental income!

App/Website Tester (around $8-10 per website)
This is another one of those options that sounds more intimidating than it is! Entrepreneurs want feedback on their websites from their target audience and, most likely, you’re their ideal client! Just like the survey taker option, sign up through a few different websites, enter your demographics, and the jobs will start coming in!
