5 Digital Product Ideas You Can Sell On YouTube

If you're ready to make extra money in your business or with your YouTube channel, this week's video is for you! Of all the different ways to make money online, creating digital products is one of the best ways to do so.

And this week, we're digging into 5 digital products that you can sell on YouTube with ease!

One of the things you may have noticed about online business is that everyone feels like they need to create a course. Like right from the beginning, people think that in order to make money, they need to create this very in depth eCourse. These eCourses take a lot of time to make and when you're getting started making digital products, that time can feel like it was wasted.

Believe me. I've been there. In fact, it was one of the biggest mistakes in my business. I spent a huge amount of time creating this course only to have it flop.

Yep. It happens. Instead of starting off with a giant course, take time to create smaller digital products that will build that know like and trust that will make a person more inclined to purchase from you later down the road when you do have an epic course available!

A Small eCourse.

Oh man, I've got you now, don't I? I just told you not to build a huge eCourse but friend, a smaller eCourse can be amazing for your business. This is a course that would be solving one specific problem or teaching one specific thing without going too much into it.

You want to share more than what you post in a YouTube video, enough to get them started on a path but not so much that you're building out a full fledged signature course. You can break it down into 3 videos and host it on your website via a password protected page that's emailed to your audience or even use a platform like Teachable! I use Teachable to house all of my courses and love it.

Workflows.

People want to know how to get through tasks with ease. This is why workflows are so popular among customers. Create a workflow that you can share with your audience so they can replicate your process.

This helps them save time and shows them that you're the authority on getting things done in your business! This is something I've seen done in so many industries so chances are you can make it work for yours! Add some video instruction to that workflow to help your customer really understand the process and you'll be boosting the value as well!

Stock Photos.

If you're a photographer, this is a great way to make passive income! The need for stock photos is getting to be higher than ever as there are so many online business owners. People are using stock photos for their social media accounts, their websites and more!

So if you can create these stock photos, you can bundle them into sets of five or ten, sell them at a flat rate and have money coming in consistently!

eBooks.

Ah, eBooks! The best thing about eBooks is that you don't have to be as in depth as you would with a traditional book. However, it can serve to be an outline of sorts for a future book, if that's something you're thinking about doing. eBooks are much more valuable if there is a specific purpose for them. As in, what pain points will you be addressing with this book?

For me, maybe I would talk about how to get started on YouTube. This would be a walkthrough of steps to get started on YouTube. If you're struggling with this, just ask yourself... what is the reader going to get from this eBook? Will it teach a lesson? Is it for entertainment?

You can also include videos to supplement the eBook, boosting it's value as well!

Templates.

This is a bit of a hodgepodge category, but this is where I'd put things like checklists, PDFs, swipe copy and workbooks. You might be thinking that people won't pay for something like this but people are always willing to pay to learn!

For example, I have a workbook that helps a person identify their core values. I'm not someone who naturally is able to identify those but by having a workbook that will walk me through the exercises and whatnot, I was able to do so. And I paid for that!

Create something for your audience to walk through, or implement, and you can start selling!
