Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok... There are so many social media platforms that it can be hard to decide which one is best for you! While most will say the social media platform they love the most is the best, it's time to break it down with some data to determine where your efforts are best spent.

So there are the numbers. But what does it mean? Let's talk about what I choose as the most effective!
it won't be a surprise to hear that I say YouTube will give you the biggest bang for your buck. Let's talk about why.
YouTube is owned by Google. This means that YouTube is backed by the power of search. There are no other social platforms that have this kind of power! By having the power of search, that means when someone searches for something on Google, a YouTube video has the potential to be shown in those search results.
This is going to help you connect with your audience by meeting a need they're searching for a solution for!
Another reason why I say YouTube is best for being your hub of content is that YouTube videos live for a long time. While a Facebook post lives for 6ish hours and Instagram posts live for about 48 hours, a YouTube video lasts for 20+ days. In fact, I have videos from years ago that are still sending clients and students to me!
This is why I choose YouTube to be the hub of my content! No matter what, I shoot a video every week for YouTube so I can have that long-lasting effect. But then I multiply it!
I film alternate endings for the video that are catered to each platform. This means I can share the video on each platform and getting the benefit of those platforms without any crazy work! And here's the best part... every single one of the social platforms out there prefers video content!
I also then use clips for my Instagram Stories, my Instagram Reels and wherever else I can put a clip!
Then I embed the video into a blog post, where I turn the video into a blog and I can get even more SEO!
