How I Create Consistent Content For Instagram (and other social media platforms)!

If you're wondering how to create consistent content on Instagram, you're not alone! Instagram content can be overwhelming- after all, it's not just knowing how to create content for Instagram but how to stay consistent on Instagram. This means you need to know how to PLAN content for Instagram.

In this video, I'm going to help you tackle your Instagram content. After all, social media marketing is going to be a huge part of growing your business! So let's dig into how to create content for Instagram as a business owner!

Choose a Content Theme

One of the best things you can do is create a content theme for each month. You may have heard this called a theme or a content pillar or even content buckets. Essentially, you're going to choose a theme that is going to be your focus for the entire month.

Once you know what your theme is for the month, you can break it down into 4 pieces of content. One for each week of the month. This is going to take so much guesswork out of your Instagram content because you're going to know exactly what you're talking about!

This process also allows me to create a series of videos that all tie together. In other words, it's a binge able form of content!

Start All of Your Content on YouTube

I know what you're thinking- YouTube! But here's the thing. Not only is YouTube the only social platform that going to show up on a google search(thanks to it being owned by Google!), YouTube videos have a much longer lifespan. Most YouTube videos have a lifespan of 20+ days as opposed to the hours on social media.

Once you have a plan sorted out for videos, you have to film. However, instead of filming just a normal video, you're going to film your video but also film alternate endings that will work for Instagram, Facebook, etc!

This is called Repurposing!

The Repurpose Plan

So what does one YouTube video give me? Let's break it down.

  1. a YouTube video!

  2. a blog post

  3. a newsletter

  4. Instagram Stories

  5. IGTV

  6. IG Reels

  7. IG Carousel Posts

  8. Instagram Feed Post

  9. Facebook Video

  10. LinkedIn Post

  11. Facebook Carousel

  12. Pinterest Pins

So what if you're just thinking Instagram? Here's what one video gives me on just Instagram every week!

  • 1 IGTV

  • 5-7 IG Stories

  • 3 Feed Posts

  • 1 Reel

Now before you start worrying about your audience getting annoyed at all of the posting, here's something you need to know. Your audience isn't seeing everything you post. They aren't following you everywhere. The more you share your content across platforms, the more visible you're going to become!

One of the best ways to save time is to create templates- click here to see how I do it!
