How To Get Clients On YouTube in 2020 with ZERO YouTube subscribers (Fill You Client Roster!)

One of the most challenging parts of running a business is maintaining consistent clients. You feel like you're screaming from the roof of every Facebook group but no matter how many groups you're active in, you can't seem to get booked out!

There are so many actions that business owners take that use up their time but don't give them the return on investment that they desire and it's high time we fix that. In fact, it's time to start working towards you booking clients and making $5000 a month!

Listen, I totally understand the finding clients is one of the most difficult parts of running a business. In fact, I remember that there was a time when I had seriously considered quitting my business and going back to my boring job because it was so difficult.

But then something changed for me! While I was having my second child, literally while I was in labor, I was signing 6 month contracts with clients. From the hospital.

So what changed? How did I go from nearly quitting to booking clients? I'm going to break it down!

Get Out of Facebook Groups.

Here's the thing. Facebook has a purpose but getting you high paying clients to fill out your roster isn't one of them. And you want high paying clients. The clients you're actually seeking are going to be willing to pay you $1000 a month.

THAT'S how you're going to hit $5000 a year!

If you're charging $30 an hour and you're working with five clients, that's 40 hours a week, giving each client 8 hours a week. And that equals out to $5000. So you just need 5 clients! And that means you need to get out of those Facebook groups and avoid those client seeking vague posts.

Focus on Your Specialty.

Being a jack of all trades will do nothing but hurt you. I know it can be tempting to do whatever jobs are available because you want to make money but what this does is dilute the true value you have to offer. You want to make sure people know what you offer is your expertise and will benefit them so focus on one thing.

You want to have a service that really stands out. Some good ideas are

  • video editing

  • copywriting

  • project manager

  • pinterest manager

  • customer service

  • personal assistant

Start to Show Your Genius

You may have heard that you shouldn't give it all away for free. I mean, why would someone pay you if you're giving everything away for free?

NOPE! That's not how this works!

You want to show your audience how much you know and how much work goes into what you do. So be sure to share the intricacies of your offerings! Provide lots of value for free so people can see that they need you!

Here's an example. I use a client management system called Dubsado. I wanted to set up and make it work for my business but when I looked it up on YouTube, I saw all the steps and realized that I would MUCH rather give that job to someone else. So I hired someone that shared detailed tutorials of how to do what she offers!

See, your potential clients need to see what you do, understand the importance of it and see the amazing value of working with you!

So how do you create content that will do that? Simple! You're going to browse the internet! Pop into YouTube or Pinterest and start searching for ideas. You're going to want to focus on your specific client's pain points and create videos with solutions to those pain points.

By creating content on YouTube consistently, you create that know like and trust that is needed to motivate someone to buy from you. This is why YouTube and video are so much more valuable than Facebook groups!

Talk About What You Do.

People don't know what you have to offer unless you tell them. It's time to start telling people what you do! Share examples of how you've helped another client. Include a description of what you do in your video descriptions. Have a spot on your website sharing what you offer. This lets people know how they can work with you after they've built that know like and trust!

Finally... if you must Facebook...

It's much more valuable to be able to answer someone's question on Facebook with a video explaining. This allows them to get the information that they need while getting to know you. And that's the beginning of their journey with you!

This also helps you stand out in the crowd of text responses since you'll have a detailed video!
